Chelsea have had yet another impressive transfer window for the second season running. Both Liverpool and Chelsea have started the season excellently. Both sides have won their opening two fixtures, scoring five, and conceding none. Liverpool have won three and lost two of their last five encounters against Chelsea. There has been an average of 3.2 goals scored per game in the last five meetings between these sides.
This will be an extremely good game of Premier League football, spearheaded by two German masterminds, Klopp and Tuchel. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool endured a difficult season last time around, finishing in third, and failing to win a trophy. However, Tuchel seemed to get this Chelsea team to the highest level once he walked through the doors at Stamford Bridge. Liverpool have their first choice defenders back, and are relatively injury free at the moment. They were the best team in the land the last time they had an injury free squad. I expect these two teams to go at it neck and neck all through the season.
